Create and design a promotional brochure concept highlighting artist Aya Takano and
her distinctive body of work through a balance of mathematics and visual aesthetics. The layout follows a classic gate fold to emphasize the act of exploring an “unfound world,” much like what is echoed in Takano’s works. Structured columns and hierarchical guidelines were utilized to create harmony across folded and unfolded spreads. Black and white artwork imagery was contrasted with bold color, texture, and expressive typography to reflect Takano’s whimsical, futuristic style while maintaining a cohesive and visually engaging design.
